Accessories, Homeware, Beverages, Media, Agriculture, NPO Charities, Beauty, Education, Apparel,
Personalities and Influencers, Food, Travel and Tourism, Technology, Services.

Accessories

This category is for jewellery, hats, sunglasses, necklaces, bracelets, rings, belts, ties, scarves, headbands and more.

Agriculture

In the agriculture category we look at crop farming systems, including vegetable, fruit, nuts, grain production, livestock etc.

Apparel

We are looking for those brands that make us show up in style, from high-end fashion to streetwear or anything in between.

Beverages

Classified into two sub-categories namely; alcoholic and non-alcoholic; drink manufacturer and/or drinks establishment/ environment including eg. mixologists, bartenders etc

Hair & Beauty

Personal Care & Skincare: Included are beauty cosmetics for the face, lips, skincare products, fragrances and personal care products.

Homeware

This includes items such as curtains, sofa sets, cushions, cutlery, crockery, tablecloths and decorative craft products etc.

Media

This category is for blogs, magazines, news platforms, TV and Radio, social media etc. Those who make everything cool.

NPO Charities

This category aims to recognize the brands who bring impactful change to the lives of South African citizens and are dedicated to a certain cause.

Travel and tourism

In this category we are looking for brands that create and curate experiences for enjoyment. We are talking tour operators, hospitality and accommodation etc.

Technology

Brands under this category produce and sell goods and services in electronics, and other industries related to IT including apps.

Services

This category is for those brands who provide value that is primarily intangible such as customer services, management, cleaning, logistics etc.

Health & Wellness

This category honors brands that promote self-discovery and self-growth physically, mentally and spiritually. Examples include a fitness or nutrition business. Please note that the brand must have been started from ground up.

Education

This category looks into brands whose primary objective is to keep everyone knowledgeable. They can also fall in the public, non-profit and private sectors.

Food

Examples for this category include all-round, condiments, confectionery products, food manufacturer, food establishment/ environments (restaurants or food stalls) and/or foodie.

Footwear

This category is for those brands that allow us to have a “sole” for the road. These brands design and produce sneakers, formal shoes, and slippers

Personalities and Influencers

This one is for the plugs and are driving the digital era with creativity, flair and personality!
